Nothing to show like what you guys are posting but looking up. My stones are forming pretty good and alot of the strains I thought were gonna stall decided to pick back up. I'd post pics of them but it's just healthy mycelium.
Also tho one problematic cube spawn I moved outdoors seems to be forming some myc on the sub finally. Although I do not expect anything from it I am hopeful it does something interesting. If it does I'll share. Wish me luck in a month or so I should be ready to fruit some things.abe1a3b7ab65c1b7601de8db414199f1.jpgb31b9a5ec7539ab70e20c3bd296610d2.jpg788b43ed74273d1d0cbef30b4ce5d3fb.jpg

This one came from an all in one bag that showed signs of contams so I emptied it in a sheltered area of the yard. I had given up on it until I checked it after a good rain, the first in well over a month. I'm not sure what kind it is but 15 gm  wet makes for a good museum dose.

Colorful little shrooms...  Does anybody have any idea what kind they are?  Supposed to be Ecuador but the pics don't match what I found online.

Really keen on seeing that and hearing more about them. Are the growth parameters similar to cubes?

E.q for me were small prolific mushrooms with the cap having more of a pink/yellow hue to the nipples. Yours look more red. Sorry I dont have a comparison photo.

Couple tubs of treasure coast I'm busy harvesting. Left them to go a little long to see if I could get a canopy. Almost there... 692b3b4c251a7dd7c3cae8850c1cdf33.jpga9cf62b0abe5876ed836d3352803578f.jpg3ad8ff481bedd74a3744e8107d95762d.jpg

That's very nice nicked. Id call the one on the left a canopy. The one on the right you can see where the Ms genetics are but still both tubs are beautiful.

I just inoculated a rye jar with Treasure Coast, I'd be happy to get at least half your harvest size. Holy chit...

Earlier in the week I did a 15 wet gm dose of the mystery shroom, I'm calling it Lizard King for now, and it was a good museum dose but only lasted about 3.5 hr. Today I went on a 25 gm journey, a good beginners dose but still only 3.5 hr trip. I felt like I was on the edge of the next level so next dose is 3.5 dry. Stomach has been a bit queasy the whole time, a trip to the porcelain throne helped a lot. I'm trading some of my shrooms for some B+ that I will take next time. It will be a 2.5 gm dry so I can get an idea of characteristics compared to the one I did today.

I expect that when I get to 4.5 my mind will resemble my avatar.

Thanks FunG

They're a clone so I'd put the tub on the right down to conditions and probably uneven mixing of substrate and spawn. Still figuring things out but I'm rather happy with this culture I've got going with a 35g dry weight average from first flush off one quart of spawn. Just need the mushies to be a little bigger as they dry down to tiny little skinny things.

I would suggest making tea rather than eating the mushrooms to help alleviate stomach issues. It’s the only way I’ll take em these days.

I’ve found that subsequent flushes will produce larger fruits, although you may not get the full flush like this. I wonder if the size on the first flush is due to genetics. Looking good!

Thanks for the thoughts there @ElPirana. I think the size of the fruits has something to do with the amount of available nutrition more than anything else really. With one quart of spawn in there and a yield of 35g its already pushing the limits of available nutrients. The tub that I included hpoo in with the coir and verm bulk sub produced larger fruits so I think the extra nutrients there played a role for sure. I think I'm going to run 2 quart tubs on my next run to see if I can achieve similar results with larger fruits.

ElPirana:

Last night I did 2gm of dry mixed in yogurt, only slight stomach upset and no aftereffect. The night before it was finely chopped wet in yogurt. I like the dry better  plus no mushroom taste.

I had a vague feeling I NEEDED to do another dose all day long. Turned out it had a lesson for me... lesson learned....

These are photos of MS BRF cakes shredded and spawned onto straw and alpaca poo mats about 2.5" thick. Since they are MS they are not very uniform but they were very reliable.

Nice! What strain is it? Looks like there’s still lots of life left in it, should be a pretty sweet second flush.

I think those were Mazatapecs. And yes! I did get several flushes from my thin mat tests.  When I get a chance, I'd like to post a complete grow report/case study on that and thin grow "mats" in general to maximize surface area.  I have the data/yields laying around here.  Thanks!

A little more info about the dose on the 13th, the next morning I did 7 tokes of Lifter CBD herb and it brought on a moderate replay of the previous day's expedition for a few hrs. Totally unexpected and can't complain about that! Anyone else have a similar experience?

I've got some KSSS going but they're fruiting kinda weird...clusters here and there, taking their sweet time and nothing like normal flushes.  So I'm just harvesting as they're ready.  Here's one from tonight, at least there are still some good ones:

01.jpg

I cloned one of the first fruits and inoculated some grain jars from agar.  These have some nice rhizo growth and I'm hoping the tubs will have better flushes.

02.jpg

My PE tub is pinning nicely.  I'll try to get a good pic once they grow a bit more.
