Tool =  over hyped blah.
I thought they were done, at one time I thought they were alright....but a ASSLOAD of really kick ass music has came out in the time they took off, and well they just aren't really that good.
Just my worthless opinion.

Well, after listening to a few limited tracks on utoob, I could give a fuck..........nay........two fucks about the negative posts in this thread and commentary discouraging one from reviewing this album.

I'm going to own this work as a hard copy.

It is so soothing and hypnotic with its inside/outside rhythms and dissonant power chords - and more than just basic power chords -  the volume when tuned to the resonant frequency of your personal sound system - really makes it hum. ;)  The choice of percussive instruments, the varying of volume making the guitar seem to speak, the use of effects ....But I go on.

And then......maybe.........smoke some herb and drop a favored substance.

The album has grown on me to a level I never thought possible. It may have dethroned Lateralus as my favorite Tool album.

I think Maynard has used Tool to document his journey of his spiritual enlightenment from the beginning with 72826 to Fear Inoculum. Fear Inoculum may be representative of the the "Crown" chakra. I don't know how they are going to top this.

Aura chakra BLAMO

Have you listened to puscifer's evolution?

The tool crew and MJK specifically is a stellar example of 'things getting better with age'

New puscifer album coming out this fall; way excited about that

They are freaking drs! Like dr’s in music. Gotta love TOOL man! I have to be in the right headspace and probably can’t listen to em tripping to hard. Tool will grow on you if you let it, and then you will have a tool tattoo. That’s awesome they made a new album. 10,000 days had that awesome little book with the glasses on it. You guys remember that trippy stuff?
