liquid culture

i did my first jar of liquid culture and it’s full of mycelium. what’s the best way to store what i don’t use?

In the door of the fridge inside of a ziplock.. The constant opening and closing shakes it up enough to aerate and survive for a very long time.

Does the same application or method of shaking apply to agar culture as well or will not be needed?  Sorry to hijack your thread just thought be a suitable question as well.

Not needed or warranted for cultures stored on agar.
