Tea will turn blue with no heat. You care to share some more detail? Maybe if we all tried the tea, we could read your mind?

I boil til 75-90% of solid mass has sunk.

I prefer tea, and by my thinking and understanding over the years I think its oxidation of actives that makes the blue. If you boil your water well before adding the mushrooms you will drive out dissolved gasses. If you do not, or you let your concoction sit exposed to air for a long time after the brewing it may turn blue. (and if you added your mushrooms as powder in gel caps, the whole thing can turn into jello blue jello overnight https://mycotopia.ne...22-blue-jell-o/ )
