Bottom watered my semps as I went to pour out excess water cake fell apart all over the floor.

8 months fucked in a minute. Classic Rocky fashion. This was the only project I cared about.

I second that motion, a DISLIKE is in order.  Horrific and heart-breaking news when a long project goes South (Sorry for your loss Sir).  I know you will get back to it when you are ready, I'm with you and a break is BADLY needed.

Lack of FAE didn't allow the best spores to form. Was able to swab enough caps to call it a success by my standards.

Took a nibble and these dudes don't mess around, it seems. Or 6 months fruiting will do that to potency.

edit: I think I found a mushroom I actually want to improve my grows with. Taking a break so drying out a few cultures to play with GLC.

If i wasn't lazy I'd clone a nice umbo and the wider flat caps. Considering I spent a year cleaning this myc, I'm really happy to get back to spore and grab a T1 for grain.

It's happening again. Forgot rubberbands for my bags. About 4 months on the plate and bag.

Starting to figure this out. Lost a bag to the green and dumped a few subpar fruiters. Hoping for tons of variety outside. Have 2 beds with different substrates, sun exposure, and "casing" layers.

Spawning my favorite ms today. It has sat appropriately long enough. Testing a run in 1020 trays with domes on just coir. I'll case at 100% + a few days.

I have a shoebox that seems to abort as soon as it pushes pins out. Can't really troubleshoot it.
Read that these guys tolerate more water then the average guy, I'm starting to slow down on my direct watering.

I've been noticing this with other species, but pretty sure these guys respond to physical stimuli. Or a light spanking. Thoughts?

Edit: oh that's spores, YES!

What is it cased with? The one that is aborting.

That little tub has some nice thick fruits. I love to see the spores start to drop like that.

Have any of you folks noticed that they are a lot more potent if you let them mature a lot, like to the point where the stems turn pink/peach? I am finding that all around sempervivas benefit from elapsed time.

50:50 casing, bit of lime to correct the initial pH iirc. They were both cased with same batch.

Don't recall at this point if that spawn smelled a bit off. They seem to be able to fight some things off. Especially with how long it takes for mine to fruit.

Hopefully getting back to new spores and not transferring as far out leads to quicker fruits. Buried a good amount of spawn so looking more for some nice outdoor clones/prints.

The nose knows. I have a clone plate from last year that has trich that I never got around to cleaning up. It is now eating the trich and fruiting in the dish. It's about a year old. I'll rescue it in my next flow session.

This was cased and had a dub added back on 6/6.
