I've got the lurgy  :excl:

Having had a 7 day course of antibiotics without much improvement the Doc thinks it's most likely viral.

It's really crappy as all my glands are up / tender, it's nearly 2 weeks since I got ill and Doc says it wouldn't be unusual I take a mixed mushroom based supplement but wondered if anyone has any particular go to fungi helper(s) they'd recommend for anti-viral properties please? If so what kind of dosage is needed to get the results? I'm wondering if my supplement isn't strong enough ...

(And any other advice for getting over a virus sooner rather than later if you have it)

Regards,

Cuboid.

Viral infections are tough. Your best helpers are those that boost your immune system up to max, (without antibiotics which are not all that helpful for virus)

Your glands are up and swollen trying to over produce defense ammunition. You did not say what supplement you are taking.

I personally use a combination.

Reishi is one of the best IMO. I grind it coarse and simmer low for an hour, pour that into a container and add water again and re simmer until I have 3 extractions. This " tea" keeps for over a month in the refrigerator unlike regular tea. I take one or two shots a day.

Colloidal silver taken internally is another good defender. When I am trying to fight something off, I will also boost the vitamins C,

B complexes, and zinc. Echinasia is another good defense herbal if you don't take it all the time.

These are my " go to's " , but I am sure there are more.

Yarrow tea. Especially good for beating antibiotic resistant urinary tract infection. Try gargling or just drink some. Besides all of Skywatcher's remedies.

"I'm no doctor, but I played one on TV!"

I prescribe garlic, in all forms, for it's reputed anti-viral properties.  Hope you get to feeling better sooner than later!

peace.

+1 for raw garlic from me... I eat a clove or two fresh whenever I’m feeling something coming on and in my super unscientific opinion it helps. Also I love garlic and the burn of raw garlic is delicious so even if it’s not helping much I’ll still do it lol
