What’s up guys. I’m Ghost. How’s everyone doing?? I actually have an opening question. I’m colonizeing a bag of golden teachers (pics (1-3) and a bag of APE (4-6).Now I know APE takes longer but they have bothe been going for about 2 weeks. Should the progress be so different??? I’ve heard it only takes an extra week to grow APES. Do you guys think that’s accurate? And also how colonized do my Golden teachers look to you? 85%% 90%?

The golden teachers look to be around 80% you should consider mixing the grain at this point and by the time its recovered the bag will be half way to full consolidation (colonized threw and threw)

The APE as I'm sure you're aware is a biologically engineered mutant (p.e cross bred with a albino spore) seeing as p.e are already wonky by nature the cross breeding didnt help with stability....everyone I know started there cultures on agar and isolated out fast growing isolates, ms was said to produce very poorly.

I've never worked with then but that's what I hear.

Thanks FunG although I would like to inform you that I had mixed the golden teachers 2 or 3 days before this. And I mixed the APE for a second time after makeing this post. Should I mix the GTs again for a second time or just wait? And I’m expecting the APES to really encompass here in the next two days at at least 50% of that of what the GTs did. Lmk. I await some ones advice.

Lol FunG that’s funny as fuck man. I know I CAN fruit it now. But what are the potential benefits of allowing the mycelium to grow stronger and into more of the substrate? If I can possibly get a better harvest by letting it colonize for another week or a week and a half then I want to do that. Do you know anything about that? And from what I’ve heard it will start pinning when it is ready to fruit. Idk though. Lmk what you think FunG. AND HEY ANY OF YOU OG GROWERS WHATS YOUR INPUT IM CURIOUS!!!

Hey if anybody has some input I was wondering, this tub has been colonizing for about a week probably a week and a half. I was trying to let it colonize as long as possible to allow the mycelium to strengthen and produce The biggest yield possible. I haven’t had pins form yet. Is it true that it is ready to be introduced to fruiting conditions when pins start to form? If not how much longer do you guys think I should let this tub sit for maximum yield??? Thanks guys.

That's my method for fruiting.

Cover in seran wrap and poke a hundred or so pin sized holes and set and forget.

The mycelium benefits from high levels of co2, it will produce much more primadora formations and increase the overall pinset.

There is a wax paper tek that works similarly to what I've been doing as of the past few years.

Either way it's just a method of keeping the co2 elevated prior up until primadora forms and then dropping it by fanning one time.

FunG nailed it.  We can't really give you a time estimate my friend.  Patience is key.

The first flush of your APE will likely be small, deformed fruits.  However in the following flushes, they should get much larger.  I recommend adding a casing layer to the APE, they seem to like it.  Be careful dosing with the APE, I've found them to be 2x the potency of other cubes like GT and B+

If you does by weight opposed to volume, I don't think you will find that big of a difference.

Volume?  I scale it out.  I can tell you with 99% certainty that 2gs APE is equal to or greater than a 3.5g trip on GTs and B+.  It is much more intense regarding visuals, emotional amplification, and temporal distortions.

If I want to have a fun and relaxing experience, regular cubes are my go to.  If I'm looking for some self-realization or journeys, I go with PE.

Of course do we ever really know if what we perceive is an accurate representation of reality?  No, hence the 1%.

Im just trying to figure out when to expose it to light and start fanning ect. That’s basically all I need to know.

Ok so a couple of OGs along with other people as a majority have told me it’s good to go ( fanning exposing to light misting etc.) to start fruiting. I couldn’t figure out why it looked 100% colonize but why there seem to be a lack of fluffy white Mycillium. Well come to find out there are two different types of Mycillium growth and my mycelium will just never look like that. Which is actually a good thing because the rhizomorphic growth which I have it’s actually more desirable for fruiting. So I’m going with my gut and the general consensus and advice to start introducing it to free conditions. Wish me luck guys I’m trying my best. Good vibes and love.
