*** IM PANICKING GUYS I NEED ADVICE ASAP***
I just transferred my spawn bag of golden teachers to bulk about 2 or 3 days ago and the growth seemed to start fine but as it came up through the substrate it kept growing skyward (a sighn of fruiting from what I have found) and NONE of my tub as colonized!!! I was told to keep the lid on and not to fan untill full colonization. But then I saw everyone saying it was ready to fruit and they said it’s starving for air so I fanned it once today. I have NO idea what to do I’m COMPLETELY LOST. PLEASE help!!

*** GUYS IM PANICKING and I need advice ASAP. I transferred golden teacher spawn to a tub a few days ago and it’s not even colonized. It started to grow upwards through the top layer then went skyward and continues to do so when it is NOT COLONIZED. I tried to find some info and only found info on skyward myc on colonized rubs and I’m COMPLETELY lost. I kept reading it was starving for o2 so I fanned it once today but that is all I have done. I could use some good advice ASAP thanks guys!!!

First off relax.
Now breathe.
Ok relax some more.
It’s just mycelium. Let the shit colonize. And calm down. Nothing in the hobby is worth losing you mind over.

Just chill it'll take like 10-15 days for it to fully colonize and pin provided u used a good spawn/sub ratio. That's a mono? If you can keep it closed for the wait time it would be most wise to do so. Good luck friend!

OMG! Toss that thing right away before it climbs up out of the tub and gets away!!!!!

Ha, Just Kidding!

Seriously though leave it alone until you see pins. Leave the lid on and peek from the clear sides. Really!

Try searching this instead "arial mycelium site:mycotopia.net"

Lol I know I know. It’s just my first grow and I put SO much into it. So is it being starved or anything? Everyone said it’s ready to fruit if it’s growing skyward but it hasn’t colonized. I’m confused.

That’s just aggressive mycelium. I honestly can’t tell you if it is or not. But it doesn’t look like it.
Usually you’ll see primordia forming and knotting. I’ve had bins colonize like this. It’s a good sign. The shit is just aggressive.
Keep in mind I’m on a cell phone so the pics are pretty small even zoomed in.
Keep in mind that you freaking out isn’t gonna change things for the better or worse. It’s either gonna work or not.

Lol thanks for being cool guys I just put a lot of time into it and it’s my first grow. And that’s the thing I transferred to the tub from spawn like 3 days ago. Isn’t the WHOLE tub full of substrate saposed to turn white like the grain bags before it pins and fruits? I thought this was WAY to early for arias mycilium or pinning? Thanks again guys

It’s not pinning. It’s just mycelium. You’re freaking out so hard you have the same thing in two posts haha.

It looks like mycilium teaching out in strands from a center 360 degrees. And it’s not very fluffy more like threads.

Ok cool. Thanks for being patient and understanding. I’ll keep you guys posted on what happens. It’s been colonizing for about two or three days in the tub now. I’m guessing within the next five days it will probably be completely colonized if it is aggressive mycelium like you say. My biggest worry is that it will just start pinning randomly if it’s true Ariel mycelium. Which doesn’t make sense because I just put it in the mono tub a few days ago. lol I’m a noob.

By the way another piece of information that is probably helpful is that I have 99% humidity and the temperature staying between 75 and 80° mainly around 77° Substrate was a mix of cocoa choir vermiculite perlite and gypsum

My APEs aren’t looking as good and aren’t ready for a tub yet it’s been like 2 to 2 and a half weeks do you think the apes look ok?here I’ll post a pic
