Day four of colonization and no weird smells and no dry spots. Hopefully I'll see some mycelium poking up through the sub in another 4 days or so. No pictures yet since everyone here has seen a tub of coir before lol.

We have mycelium!!! Came home from work to see the first signs of life coming through the surface. I hope this turns out really good. I'll keep you posted as it progresses. edf7f04caf5e6644ccfcdf9f33644abf.jpg

So I had a total of 6 GT clone jars colonizing. 1 clone per 3 jars. I had 2 of one set and 1 of another reach 100% colonized. I made the decision to go ahead and spawn them to bulk. I just have a question since I mixed the 2 clones of the same variety will there be any problem with doing that? I didn't see any harm in doing so since they are the same variety. What do you think will be the outcome? I'm thinking it will just be a mixture of large (hopefully) fruits. It was clean spawn (I love the smell of clean myc) spawned to a 32qt tub 1:2/spawn:coir.

Here's the clone tub I did on the 28th it seems to be progressing nicely I can't wait until I start to see knots in about 4 more days to a week. I'm just basing my guess on what the my past experiences and what other more experienced people have told me. I'll post pics of my other clone tub later once I see colonization begin. 1d69ecebca0f411c617e81a3478b78d9.jpg

I have knots! Had a blowout leaving work and stripped a lug nut so I'm kinda flustered atm. I'm just hit some dabs and go night night. I'll post some pictures tomorrow.

Shouldn’t be any problem mixing them. One advantage to taking clones is that it’s easier to isolate substrains because there will only be a few. And the substrains in the clone will most likely be one that fruits. Since you’re not isolating, there’s really no harm in mixing.
By the way your grow looks great!

Thanks for the reply. That's what I was thinking more or less.

Photo update time. I'm beginning to see the the knots turn into primordia in some places. Hopefully pins by Sunday or Monday! af32ae5e890da873dabd2cbef7e17aad.jpg
