Did you put them in there when you think you could make them fruit? Or did you wait for signs of fruiting before? That makes huge difference in time. Cakes that have primordia and knots, mean that they are ready to fruit. Some video that says you can make them fruit after 7 days or so, you may be waiting a while for them to finish consolidating hopefully not getting overwatered or over fanned.

already had a premature shroom from one which hadnt finished colonising yet, but that was before christmas, probably gave them a few weeks after full visual colonisation. they both have a few small pins at the moment

If there are pins, then you should expect to see action in the next few days, assuming that you don't dry them out with to much fresh air, drown them with too much watering, Kill them with a additional heat like a heat pad,  or otherwise smothering them to death with to much love trying to make them do what they do. Got pics?

Looks like you just put them to fruiting after a good dunk? If you don't smother them, I would guess next Sunday to be the latest from the description you give.

Looking good! I bet you're excited. Next you will fall asleep for the evening and wake up to black stuff covering your cake and you'll be posting asking what happened.
