We have relied on the crappy surveillance camera for so long it is a bit of a walk back of the technological crime battle with mask wearing becoming the norm. Now its back to eye witness reports and if they are smart enough to leave their freaking cell phone at home when they commit the crime one should have a decent chance of escape. Then again the over abundance of cameras in a urban setting they can damn near follow you home.

It is always an interesting battle to watch the never ending crime arms race. We developed a new technology to stop crime and the criminals figure out how to work around it. It goes in waves, at one point if you were a dude who could write fake cheque you had the world by the balls. Then the debit card came along and put you out of business. So the next generation learns how to steal your pin at the ATM, so on and so forth. I wonder what the counter to this new wave of thefts will be. Locking the items down under unbreakable plastic or going back towards the all the inventory is behind the counter style you see like the downtown liquor store. Surely we all noticed how our razor blades starting having all these weird protective measures around them, they became the hot button item for shoplifting considering the high price and relatively small size.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I have a riddle for you.

Consider the following:

"I am waisted."

What am I ?

Rooster after a bottle of tequila?

Time feels like the obvious choice but I think its a bit trickier than that.... hmmmm you got me

Remember when you couldn't just look up the answer, when you got to wonder, when you and your friends would argue some silly point all night long when you were drinking. No way to solve it other than phoning a friend to settle the score. So in that fashion I will give myself something to wonder

edit: Well that was quick, answered before I managed to type out my reply

I'm one sick motherfucker. Not the grammar police.

I see errors all the time and commit them myself from time to time. But that particular error made me scream - nay - SCREAM WITH LAUGHTER - like I haven't done in months.

Maybe I have Turret's syndrome?

The framing of your response (timing, realization of reply) set off yet another bout of SCREAMING LAUGHTER .........roflmao - I'm dying over here.

Yes.....I'm one seriously sicko. And .........crawling back under my rock.

I'm still laughing out loud over this.

Man, I haven't laughed this much in a long time.

Light, easy, gentle humor - and being the object thereof. .....F-ing HILARIOUS!

It's funny how peoples brains work differently.  Even though I'm lazy and don't use it all the time, I've got fairly good grammar, and language mechanics skills,  but my spelling, and use of proper homonyms have always been horrendous.   Auto correct, and spell check are both a bane, and boon.   I cant tell you how many times I've just clicked 'ok' to a 'correction' that was not so correct, lol.

I partially attribute it to a moderate case of dyslexia, but the rest falls on me.

I plead the fifth on my writing skills

Agreed on the spell check part, mine has gotten so bad there are a few words that auto correct wont even recognize. Oh man I am that far off come on!

Sure say duck more than I ever intended to. We like to joke around saying duck intentionally now it can be ducking hilarious if timed right

I just didn't want to come across in the wrong way.

I am STILL laughing my ass off every time I re-read the commentary. I like that Juthro caught the intended mis-spelling of Tourettes syndrome. But I do find myself going around and around in circles sometimes. ;)

The most fun and laughter than I have had in a long time. Thank you gentlemen for humoring me for a moment.

I've had my quiet life altered without my assent, or ever knowing aught.
