Hii Growbuddy's

I have a question about my first experiment.

2 months ago i had buyed a growkit (mc kennaii)

so i was so happy when they fruited and turned to mushrooms. I was letterly amazed by this growing method.

What i did next:

buying a pressure cooker. and some wheat (tarwe) i sterilized the weath in the pressurecooker

And i took some mycelium of the growkit.

What happend was that my wheat are completely collonized but there are no pinning heads.

my question is:

Will this method even work? this is my first attemp for growing my mushrooms.

Please help!!!

If you have a healthy, fully colonized jar, you should be well on your way to seeing more mushrooms.

The method you've described is called a transfer.

What myc said...

And you can transfer up to 5x before the mycelium degrades (insert word that summarizes my post 《here》 )

I try not to go past 4gens....5 is borderline.

But yea, transfer some sterilized wheat to some more jars of sterilized wheat in a glovebox (gloves attached!) And you can mass produce!

Pure grooviness, eh?

If you are fully colonized you should spawn the wheat to a bulk substrate. Then you wait for that to colonize and get more fruits. Fruiting from grains alone is less than ideal.
