Found some of these recently and was wondering what’s the best way to clean these before usage. I found them in the wild and in poop so I’m afraid they would not be clean enough for direct consumption.

So, 2 friends have tried some of these mushrooms that we picked. One dosage was 10g wet and the other was 1g wet just to test. My friend who tried one gram didn't notice anything but had some nausea for 2 hours. My friend who tried 10g wet felt only a very very mild trip with no visuals, and feeling of nausea throughout. I'm beginning to wonder if these really are Copelandia's since they should be way way stronger.
Can any of you guys help ID? I've got some more pictures, you can see we found them growing on cow pats

Originally the stems are grey/white but some of them are definitely changing color, to a dark dark blackish blue. Some look a bit more black, mainly at the stems. of This was because of damage from the rain or mild bruising when picking.

There are Panaeolus species that look very similar to pan cyans but don't bruise blue and are only weakly psychoactive, or are non-psychoactive. Maybe this is Panaeolus antillarum or similar?

Yea thats what i was thinking too, i know there is a type that can cause severe gastrointestinal distress if alchohol has been taken with them also.

Pan cayns turn blue as if blue ink was rubbed onto it.
No mistaking the blue on true blue meanies.

Most wild ones i have found, the stems have spiral virtually running lines up them also, the look alikes do not spiral or turn blue.

lol I can't tell if they're turning dark blue or black. My friend definitely thinks its blue... Do Panaeolus antillarum stems turn any color? Do they stay white/grey after bruising or trauma?

This one definitely is not blue bruising.
You can see where it has a bruise on the stem where you picked it.

Looks brown. I posted somewhere two caps, one is a pan cayn one is a lookalike, next to each other extreamly hard to tell the difference.

Il see if i can find it and post here for you.Screenshot_20200412-085704_Samsung Internet.jpg

So I'm a newb and got overexcited when i found what I thought was Pan Cyans/Copelandias in my previous post. So I did a bit more research on lookalikes especially the Panaeolus antillarum.

I went back out to my spot and luckily found some more again. I made sure to pay careful attention if they turned blue, which the did over the course of a couple of hours and then to very dark blue/black. I made sure to bruise them right at the end of the stipe so I would be sure.

The problem before was they turned from blue to black without me noticing in my excitement...

I'm now suspecting my friend did not prepare the tea properly and therefore had a weak trip or there were some other non active pan species mixed in with my previous pickings. Strange though since I went to pretty much the same spots as last time and all the shrooms I picked today turned blue.

Here are some pics

Yea those are for suree cayns

Carful duder, when i eat those fresh, i take like 4-6 caps about the size of a quarter.

They should be amazingly intense:)
If it is your first time with blue meanies, do not underestimate them!!

For some reason the pictures don't really capture the blue, more so the black that it eventually turns to. That's why I was having difficulty identifying when i went back to look at my pics of the first forage.
When observing in real life they do turn from whitish grey to blue and the to dark blue/black

So they go from the first picture to the second and third pictures in the space of 2-3 hours

There are at least two kinds in those pics. In one pic you can see obvious differences in the gill structure. Those look like basic Inky caps to me and I don't see even a hint of blue in any of those pics. I cannot stress enough to not eat wild picked shrooms unless you know exactly what you are picking. Those don't look like any kind of Cyans I have ever picked.

hey, just saying, none of those look active at all. I would not recommend giving those to any of your "friends" unless you do a DNA sequencing on it and get a positive I.D. from the mushroom database, or have an experienced hunter/mycologist give you an I.D. You really don't want to eat a mushroom you don't know about man. There are some really bad ones out there that hang out and thrive in the same areas that us psychedelic seekers are often searching in... Not so much active cope lookalikes, I don't know of any absolutely awful cyan lookalikes off hand, but you really don't want to end up in the bathroom with severe diarrhea and vomiting your guts up for hours instead of the lovely psychedelic trip you were expecting... You will really regret not just asking for an ID... or getting charged for murder when one of your buddies plays your guinea pig and dies.. just be careful bud

Yeah I'm with chocolateStarfish on this one.

One should never, and I mean never-ever-fucking-ever,  consume any mushroom that one hasn't definitively identified.

Double post but maybe that's a good thing if it helps drive the message home.
