Hey guys i have 10 gallon smart bags of vainnla frosting and they are filling in fast! I thought they maybe be here until harvest but they seem root bound already. :/ kinda good bad! What size maybe ??? I don’t know the yield on these 10 gallons but if I can get half P or soemthing near that on these I be stoked!!!!! So i was thinking maybe 20 gallon or 25 pots??? I thought I only try maybe 1-2 plants and see how big it can get. I don’t wanna try all 3 getting super big. Lol I think the crosses on my plant are like frost Og and another so I think the plant is gunna stay short for most people part. Anyone with general harvest yield sizes and pots sizes lmk please. I have 3 plants 10 gallon and like 8 others in 1-3 gallon pots. If I can get half P or whatever off a single plant then I can grow maybe cut back less for my needs and next time only a few. I figure if ima grow these plants and time and risk kinda then I might as well get it big and max size...

I would go a minimum of 20 for outdoor grows. 40 would be better.

damn.... well this is my first grow....... what do you think my yield would be on the low or high end??? With a 20 gallon vs leaving it in this 10’gallon? Sorry for dumb weird questions lol. Thanks a lot boss! really might just do that...... gone this far might as well get most

Hard to gauge yield... Different strains vary widely on how much they will produce... Also, keep in mind that different strains will finish at different times, if you have more than one type...

Go as big as you can on the pots... Bigger pots mean bigger roots and more available nutrients for a soil grow... I will sometimes cut the bottom out of the pot so the roots can continue into the ground.

If it is at the bottom and it is not getting light, take it off... You want to be careful filling out higher up on the plant. You can top them if you want, Them ore you top them, the more they will bush out. I don't like to top them when I am getting closer to the flowering cycle, typically two weeks prior... When pruning, remember that the leaves are like sugar factories... The plant gets its energy from the leaves and you don't want to take too many off, including the big fan leaves... If you remove too many leaves, the plant will struggle to generate enough energy to fruit prolifically. If I were you, I would find a couple instagram accounts or websites where you can see plants during different growth stages and see how they are being trimmed. There are some pretty talented growers posting their stuff online.
