PWI - Posting While Intoxicated. Looks like that was some good moonshine. Akin to DWI - Dialing While Intoxicated.
Anyway. Glad I'm not the only one who does this. I feel better now. LOL

Nice! Thats flipping sweety my Man!
Happy 4th u fellas and maybe females. Last nights run after another day with the rifles. Double distilled this morning. Got a 160 with the hydrometer. Honestly its hard to push past 180 without needing some serious water temper or just making an apple cinnamonor peach punch. The future is clear and bright...lol
You will have to jump Into the thread I'll be starting if all plans out. While distillation of alcohol isn't legal here alot of people still do it for personal use.. I've been tinkering with my chemistry set. But unfortunately 1000ml glass just doesn't cut it for Distillation of alcohol.... Learnt alot about heads/Hearts and tails poking around with my glass hardware distilling wine
Was on Ebay the other day and ordered up a small/Cheap Still. Chinese I do believe, but hopefully it will let me produce decent shine for my own personal use.
3 gal/12liter unit. I know it's kinda small but better than my 1000ml glass wear seeing as this will only feed myself, should fit the bill for what I need.
Plan is to start up a corn mash as soon as kit is shipped and order some Claw Hammer (??) flavor kits... Don't see a problem with seller shipping unit as it's definitely not illegal to own a Distillation set up as it can be used for water or essential oils I was more worried procuring my glass. Which I did years ago. best investment ever.
have been looking at distilling Rum, but I've read to get the flavor/taste you need Dunder left over mash from the Distillation process ? While most people in the free world can order it, I have been looking and haven't found a source that will ship abroad.. and local Distillation companies won't sell to locals with out permits
I've got a few Bucket list projects on the go at the moment pertaining to myco & Distillation. 2 hobbies I'm still pretty green at.
So hopefully end of the month I'll bash up a thread and look for advice and help with my journey in making some quality shine.

About 10-12 years ago, a VERY knowledgeable and kind soul gifted me a ton of reloading stuff. Damn near literally. He gave me 4-5 Dillon Progressive presses. half a dozen single ones, triple beam scales, absolutely THOUSANDS of rounds of brass, which included at least 10,000 rounds of .45 brass that was in hundred round lots, meticulously labeled as to powder type, projectile, and times shot. Casing trimmers, a huge vibrator to vibrate the entire table when reloads were being done to make sure your powder was well packed. Thousands of primers in every size. He gave me bullet molds in a dozen different calibers and more in sizes. He gave me enough lead to weigh down the back of my 1970 Cadillac Sedan DeVille to where it was dragging on the bottom of the leaf springs. Literally a reloader's dream.
I kept it all for ten years and made some ammo myself, but realized that was not something that I had the passion to pursue. I worked with a kid who had that passion. I asked him if he was interested in some reloading stuff. I think he came in his pants at the very thought. When I brought it in he nearly died from the shock of the extent of it all. He tried to pay me, but it was all a gift to me. I gifted it all to him just the same. I think the whole thing nearly gave him an aneurism lol. I was so damn glad to make someone else's day in the way that it was intended for me. For me it was a bit overwhelming. For him it was practically orgasmic. So glad that collection got to the person it was meant for, because I was not that one. I was not the person it was meant for, but I found that guy and made it happen. Very good outcome for all of that.

I finally made it back across the street to visit my neighbor yesterday. It looks like he must have given up on me coming back to reload. Everything was broken-down and put away. Even the things I bought had disappeared into his tool box drawers.
Weird, to say the least.
He sent me home with my brass, primers, bullets, and powder for the 7mm............but I have no way to trim cases nor do I have a press (anymore)???
People are f-ing weird. Myself included. I guess I need to make more effort to get over and visit - maybe smooth things out a bit. Do some reloading and chatting. It'll be a couple of weeks yet but I'm anxious to build some ammo and get out to the range for testing.
He did say that he has put several rounds through the 6 BR that I rebuilt. He hasn't tried the hand-loads I made yet. Sounds like a good excuse to hit the range. Maybe next weekend. Will take pics.
