Take a look around in the magic mushroom forum, and you will see lots of grow logs my friend. We look forward to some details and photos as you update. Good grow vibes to you.

And my question of humidity. With the tub in tub, couldn't I just keep fresh chlorinated water in the bottom of the FC. Just flush frequently and not use perlite? And if not, could I use peat moss and woodchips in the bottom of the FC for humidity?
The main reason to use perlite is to increase the area for water evaporation. It is possible to use coir, but it does contaminate after a while.
Some people use an air pump and a fine air stone to bubble the water and that increases evaporation.

How would chlorinated water contaminate? I'm talking the interior of the FC. Not substrate.

Chlorinated water isn't impregnable when it comes to mold and bacteria. The chlorine evaporates over a few hours, leaving it vulnerable to contamination. The same goes for the water in perlite though, so IDK...How would chlorinated water contaminate? I'm talking the interior of the FC. Not substrate.
I would recommend a dub tub. I just harvested my first flush (36g dry) from a 7.5qt dub tub setup. I used 3.75qt spawn to a 1:1:1 verm/coir/black kow sub. After it colonized, I just flipped another 7.5qt shoebox upside-down over top, and loosely secured w/ scotch tape.
I didn't modify the tubs at all, so I do have to fan 2× a day. But I have 0 complaints so far.

I have very successfully used lava stones in the bottom of an aquarium with water heavily loaded with sea salt, small trays of colonized substrates set on the stones and just fanning for FAE.....
There are a thousand ways to skin this cat actually.
With woodlovers I've been experimenting with living moss as It LOVES the CO2 and moisture. (YEAH YEAH I know all about the trich issues indoors that are possible with potting soils and plants so don't listen to me I'm sadistic)
Then there's TV's towel over the tub, kept wet, and also heavy paper towels draped over the IN sides of the FC tub and kept wet.......
I've even set a jar of HPOO and grain to fruiting in a big plastic pretzel jug with water in it....
Good growing vibes man!

Day 1. Jars nocced up.
Stealth af.
Yeah. So I get to injecting them and realize I didn't remember exactly how much water was ideal. I would have got on here, but I was already in motion. So anyway, I gave them varying CC's in the name of science.
Anyway. I got an outdoor shed that gets pretty warm. I'm trying not to run the heater if not absolutely necessary. I got a laser thermometer on the way, but until then, how should I check temp? I'll have the thermometer in 6 days...
Anyway. STEALTH!!!

That's some old information, you can pressure cook sunflower seeds and what not it wont harm the jar. Just so ya know for next time, whatever saves time Is what i say.Got my grain cleaned and my sunflowers and millet shits out. Ready to soak overnight.
Look forward to the rest of the log, but by gawd man b+? Someone sent me b+ spore prints contaminated with some sort of virus that doesnt go away, I'll never grow b+ again even if someone guarantees me that it's free of viruses and what not. Throwing out the rest of my spawn brother :( smells clean, looks clean but pffft no good.
I didnt see your storage space before posting....you do realize that it's less then ideal to store outside in a shed? Trich will be all over those jars due to increased drafts/moisture/mildew etc but I hope it works out for you.
