Temperature doesn't play much of any role in cube fruiting as far as I know.....that's looking really good man!

So I got this Energizer light.

Starting to get pretty nervous now.
10 days since I introduced fruiting conditions, and I barely have any primordia.
In the meantime, the other substrate, which was spawned from a grain to grain from the jars THIS was spawned with is almost already fully colonized and is producing pre pins already.
Idk what my issue is.

What is the temperature?
Does it look and smell healthy otherwise?
Posted 12 August 2020 - 10:30 AM
Mist and air every 2-3 hours.
12/12 light. 74-82°F.
It smells fine.
Looking at my other sub, the way it's Colonized is VASTLY different. This sub is colonized with more whispy mic through the sub, leaving it a brown-ish whereas my other sub is dense hyphae wrapped around the surface of the sub.
I feel like it's not as healthy because I sterilized it on accident instead of pasteurization???
Also, the first week of colonization, my thermometer hadn't arrived yet, so it got into the 90°s frequently at the beginning of it's life.
Once I got to the week mark I picked up fanning and misting.

What is the relative humidity in that fruiting chamber? They look dry to me.........I would mist the walls of the tub...
Water them outdoor boomers with a spray bottle on mist while you're at it. You can even throw a nice sparse layer of green grass/weeds over that outdoor grow and keep it misted well....
Sunshine and most mushrooms do not get along well......we find most mushrooms out in the wilds in the deep damp shade......those outdoor shrooms are looking good....need some water perhaps...

I have no way of measuring humidity... What's an affordable device?
The outdoor boys get PLENTY of water. They're in my garden. Lol

Also, they're already sprouting outside. Received some heavy rain and lots of mud and eggshells fell on it. That caused them to pop off insane. I'll mist the indoor dudes.

Mist the inside of the fruiting chamber NOT directly on the cake or pins.......Wet paper towels inside a fruiting chamber make a great humidifier........
