It's too difficult to tell for sure with pictures taken through the wall of a plastic bin.

The difference between trich and cubensis mycelium is usually obvious to an experienced eye but until trich sporulates and turns green it can look very similar so you definitely don't want to toss anything too early. In any case you'll know real soon if it's the right mycelium or a contaminant. At the slightest hint of green get the whole thing outside, which will give you a much better chance of salvaging a flush than trying to scoop out a bad spot in your substrate (which almost never works).

Just the colonized substrate, not the tub itself.

I don't bury them, I just put them on the ground in a shady spot and cover with leaves or straw. I water them heavily with a garden hose if there's not much rain and/or humidity is low. Sometimes I'll use a big piece of window screen to keep the bugs off 'em (I set the sub on the screen and gather up the corners and bundle them together like closing a trash bag, then use some string or a cheap plastic clamp to hold the "bag" closed. If you don't use something to keep bugs off then be sure to check on it often so the bugs don't have a chance to do much damage before you can harvest whatever's there.

This is how it looks without lid. I moved it to another place to take a picture.

It's been 9-10 days

Everyone's life is fucked. The fungi just like to test us to see if we're committed enough to carry on anyway.
