For the first time ever my local grocer had wide-mouth full pint jars so I picked up all they had (12 jars) so my question is how much should I innoc. per cake?

You still only need to use 1-2 cc of spore/clone solution,But I use more like 5cc of Dex water or multispore to speed up the process.

Glad ya finnally got the wide mouth mason's.

pint jars for cakes is not the greatest idea. I tried it. Found by time that one colonized, i could have done 3 seperate 1/2 pints. Meaning it took so long to finish, i was on to other strains.

With a 1 pint mason,My jars will colo in 1 month or so using a multispore innoc.Any Clone solution will probably be much faster.

I am doing brf cakes and using good old texas style karo water. These are more of an experiemnt and not intended to be the only jars so if it takes a while to colonize, no biggie. Besides something is only that much better if you have to wait for it, except perhaps for antivenom...

I did pint cakes and they seemed to be a little drier when I popped em out...I would think just to dunk them before the first flush and they'd be straight

Much faster! Especially if you spread the innoculant evenly around the cake.

pint canning jars tend to be a bit narrow
and sometimes the bottoms are slow to finish
so using a bit more inoculant is recommended
