Agar Agar: The 2020 Agar Agar Thread

Hey so with all these successes I thought a couple of fail pics were appropriate.
These were spores collected by scarping some caps from my last run where I had major issues with yields and fungus gnats. Totally was Fooked.

Mt agars are looking good just as an update.
And yeah bro, my purposely contaminated agar isn't that dirty. So my shit is relatively clean, GRANTED, I cook agar in the kitchen, and not a "sterile" environment. But obviously (or maybe not? Men be filthy) my kitchen stays pretty clean as well.
The jars I put them in however was a stupid choice as far as porn goes. Nothing to look at. Even worse in pics, but I was really struggling getting my process down, and had already wasted so much material, that I just nocced up the agar anyway.
When I go to grain with them I'll post pics.
I'm getting my first PE print for my birthday. So that will be the agar porn I post here.

Is that a stem transferred? Looks like some mold, and other contaminates. Not the best angle though.
Here's a pretty clean swab, center is a bit odd. Someone sent me all gourmet/medicinal and a swab of this cube.
Transfer 1 Jedi Mind Fuck (what a dumb name)
Took a big square chunk out to transfer.
At roughly 8ish I just rubbed off some rope to transfer.

Also, it rolled around a bit before it hit the center. So it's got myc in other places.

Definitely things to note....gentle level handling is necessary...takes a bit of practice to apply lab film to pitri's while not rolling things around.....
Smaller transfer "stick" to the agar better IME.....it's always great fun......
