I’m pretty sure this isn’t the good shit. Unless I’m just off from returning?

1)What is this contaminate?

2) I ordered some rye grain jars and I’m bout to go self sufficient. Can anybody tell me where I can get the self healing ports and whatever that material is for the AE? Got the jars from out-grow.com

Throw in a link to a good jar tek, I’m all ears.

Use a silicone for making gaskets.

Put a good bit over a hole, and use a square of shiny business card to kinda push it down flat, leave the card until its dry.

It works great.

There is a picture tutorial around here somewhere.
Il see if i can find it and post a link

Bacterial most likely... Quite often, when the spawn doesn't fully colonize but there are areas of healthy looking myc, it is bacterial... This is a little different in appearance than what I would expect to see with bacteria but it is the most likely cause in my mind... The grains don't seem to have the wet appearance that bacteria will often cause though... If there is a sweet or sour smell, you will know for sure.
