I only use enough water to liquify it. Maybe two oz in the bottom of a cup. Lately at work I have been saving the last inch of my coffee and tossing a heaping spoonful in there, let it saturate, stir it well and knock it back in one swallow. I think that may well be the best way I have found yet. The coffee seems to almost enhance the flavor to (almost) likeable.

Sky, I am very glad it has helped you! It has been a life changer for me as well. My wife used to eat it in a yogurt cup.

Sorry for the digression, but a pinch of salt and/or a pinch of nutmeg help reduce the bitter flavor from coffee, at least for me. Maybe something like that could make the kratom go down more smoothly, especially if you're mixing it with coffee.

Kratom  awesome  !

i have arthritis especially in my hands from yrs of intense work with my hands as an artist/teacher pottery n sculpture   .

the joints are wore out and i'm old ha .....I LOOK GOOD FOR 103 ha .

I have tried several varieties of Kratom I  like  The White Maeng Da.

it relieves the pain and has a nice Caffeine Like boost ....similar  to a cup of coffee ,

The red Variety's  are generally a bit to sedating .  i am also ummm Sensitive to   ummm stuff heh  , i get more bang with smaller dose amount , a larger dose makes me nauseous,

I find just one   level teaspoon  once or twice a day is right  for me . i tried  several ways to take it . i settled on a warm toss n wash .

i warm up an ounce or two of water in a coffee mug like 20 seconds in microwave , stir in kratom , let cool a bit chug it down fast then rinse with another beverage  .

i buy one kilo at a time for about $100 lasts long time and thrifty , PM me for my vendor who also has huge selection of other interesting stuff  rare seeds and even live plants .

  can i name vendors   ?

i tride growing it but it hated my climate indoors or out ,  not humid enough plants kept dropping leaves eventually died  ,,sad  as it was a nice looking plant .

I have not. What is that, and could you share what you know about it?

Monotropa uniflora, also known as ghost plant (or ghost pipe), or Indian pipe, is an herbaceous perennial plant native to temperate regions of Asia, North America and northern South America, but with large gaps between areas.[1][2] The plant is sometimes completely waxy white, but often has black flecks or pale pink coloration.[3] Rare variants may have a deep red color

This plant grows in forests all over where i live. It doesn't cause a high but makes you distant from the pain I use an everclear tincture and only 1-2 ml as a does.

I mix mine with coffee. I measure out roughly a spoon, it varies but about 4-5g, put it in the bottom of my coffee cup, I also empty out a 100mg caffeine capsule for an extra oomph, and brew 4oz strong on the Keurig then fill my cup up with water and chug it.

I'm sure any how coffee brewer would work, just what happens to be in my house. You could also add more coffee if you're more of a coffee enjoyer/sipper but for me it's nothing but a caffeine delivery system lol.

With the coffee and a touch of sugar, barely notice the taste of the kratom, but also slugging it down probably helps with that lol. Flavored coffees should cover the kratom even more.

I have started stirring 2 tsp of bene-fiber into my kratom lately. (I find I seem to need that stuff now....)

Weirdly I have found it suspends the kratom more smoothly, and also drops the taste/bitterness in half. This is working well for me but unfortunately it tends to clump in OJ, so it does not help my partner. He has grown accustomed to the taste now and seems to not mind it as much......

I don't know much about kratom except that my guts are allergic to it so I stay away

Can't it be extracted into a tea? Even if it took a few brewings to get all the goods out it would have to be better than swallowing sawdust??

I offer all my neuralgia people spirulina tablets?
If it is in their feet and diabetic related, many of them say it works. The 80 year olds think of it as a "pain pill" and its just spirulina. Best wishes

Skywatcher, I spent a LOT of money on different extracts before I came to the conclusion that they are largely overpriced garbage. They don't last as long pain relief wise, and they are much less than satisfactory in too many ways. The full spectrum straight powdered leaves is the only way to go in my opinion. I have heard others rave about the extracts, but they were a huge disappointment for me.

I agree with the extracts. Way overpriced, and the regular powder works best for me and my partner. A good quality powder suspends pretty easily in the water or juice, and I don't find it all that unpleasant tasting anymore.

We recently got a "Bullet" mini blender, and it will evenly mix a full dose into about 4 or 5 good swallows, making it even quicker to drink down....

Anyone tried the tea/leaf form?

I'd forgotten about a bag I bought a while back, full spectrum from Krabot. I kinda like it better than powdered, although not sure how it compares to powder dose wise.

I don't brew it, I have some mini mason jars I measure out 2 grams into and fill with water and let sit for a bit, shake and shoot. Then add a little more water to swirl around to get the last bits.

Taste is much better than powdered, may be worth a try next time you order.

I found the tea type grind to be impossible to swallow, and if you don't ingest the leaf product itself you miss out on a substantial amount of alkaloids. Toss and wash with the find powder is the best way to go above all that I have found.

Were you trying to eat the "tea" dry/straight out of the packaging?

The tea I got is I would say a somewhat fine chop. Mind you I'm no tea aficionado.

Mixing it with water as I said above texture wise I'd say is about the same as heavy pulp OJ.

Although I can pretty much swallow anything other than MSM... kek

I boil a gallon of water and steep about 6 tablespoons of whatever I'm trying that day. If you boil it over if will make a mess pretty fast. Once this leaves the water colored and bitter tasting, its pretty close to a dose a cup. I can be strained through. Filter or t shirt. I keep it in the fridge and after a while the bitter gets better. With ice and milk its not bad. Drink fast.

Micogi, heck no man, I am not that hardcore lol. This was cut similar to loose leaf tea, fairly coarse cut. I drank it like tea, steeping it in the glass. As tea it was not as bad to drink with a little honey in it, but by not ingesting the leaf material I felt like I missed out on about half the goodies compared to the toss and wash method. I read somewhere that by not ingesting the material you lose about 20%, but I would think it was higher than that. Gotta go to the PO today as I should have two new kilos to sample today.

Happy4nicator it is sure nice to see ya brother. Hope all is well with you and yours.
