Gymnopilus Luteofolius :D
Snipped this one out of a cluster, cap about the size of a quarter, I don't know how quickly they mature, and I wanted to make sure to get a spore print.
I went spores to OA, knocked a pint of oats, they colonized pretty slowly, made up a bag of hickory sawdust and added 2% of the dry volume in diatomaceous earth, (if I remember right), and knocked with the pint of grain.
The bag ended up tamming out with trich, so I kinda put it in containment, and then months later found it colonized and knotting/pinning like crazy, and put it in the FC.
I'm also trying a woodlover style, gradual-feed, colony building method with these, and I've also plugged a small log of honey locust with them.
I'm keeping a close eye on them, and I'll be taking more pictures when I can.
