The small sample was taken off the edge of that grey dead stuff ??? Not sure what it is

I guess I can explain some this was part of my first test run of working with agar the grey stuff was taken from a contamed petri in the transfers I got it down to the white fluffy stuff then the sample turned grey and looks dead so I took a small sample just incase it was myc. Does myc turn grey for pans???

Hard to say from the pic, could be penicillium. Either way, it’s mold. Toss it, no clean mycelium in that plate.
