@TVCasualty @pastyoureyes,
What are some good baseline grain to water ratios that you would recommend?
I feel like I am having a hard time dialing in the right amounts for injection port, sealed 32 ounce Ball jars... I had been using 300g grain to 250 mL distilled water...
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I'm pretty close to getting perfect hydration with equal parts grain and water. My bags have been on the dry side lately too so slightly more water than grain should help. I've been tweaking my process and am still trying to dial it in to perfection. I use a small electric pressure cooker on the slow cooker setting for hydration step, it runs about 2 hours. I then put in a strainer over the sink before filling bags. I could probably just skip the strainer and load directly into the bags and get perfect hydration without adding extra water. A couple of the bags I thought were too dry did eventually show healthy growth but seemed slower to start.

I do 1.75 lbs water and 3.25 lbs millet, let soak for 12 hours or so before PC. (spawn bags, but the ratio is there for you to calculate)
