Checkout https://mycotopia.ne...-grow-tutorial/ which is on the first page of this forum right now. Pretty simple setup just adds a 12v computer fan, blue leds, and air pump.
Another simple setup https://mycotopia.ne...=+chicon +nindo from here which is just a tote, air pump, humidifier and later adds blue leds. The before / after difference with blue LED's made me a believer and I've used them for cubes as well as mexicanas ever since.
The primary theme is that these prefer a bit more fresh air then cubes so the addition of a fan / air pump is common. I believe everyone uses light for their grows just maybe not specifically blue spectrum. There are some publications showing preferred morphological traits when using blue LED that can be found like https://www.ncbi.nlm...les/PMC3627973/

Thank you for the reply. I'm probably going the shadowbox route. I am just seeing if anyone here just runs straight monos with sucess
I don't see a reason why straight monos would not work. Just a bit more hands on TLC required for the extra FAE and misting. I'm not up to speed on the semperviva thread Jrotten mentions.
