The best way to introduce this project is just to quote their home page:

The Media Manipulation Casebook is a digital research platform linking together theory, methods, and practice for mapping media manipulation and disinformation campaigns. This resource is intended for researchers, journalists, technologists, policymakers, educators, and civil society organizers who want to learn about detecting, documenting, describing, and debunking misinformation.

It's basically a site run by a group of researchers who are doing our homework for us since a disturbing number of adults who vote have apparently forgotten how (e.g., those who tend to get pissy when informed that Facebook feeds, opinionated blog posts, YouTube videos, and retweets don't count as "sources").

Here's what they found after looking into the Plandemic video: https://mediamanipul...mic-documentary

And this is an interesting history of trolling Antifa on social media: https://mediamanipul...-media-accounts

There are a bunch of other similar Case Studies from around the world and the list is growing since it's still a relatively new site (under a year old).

Of course since it's affiliated with Harvard then it's obviously a CIA front and can therefore be dismissed as propaganda or disinformation, and the inevitable campaign to discredit it will probably end up as one of its featured Case Studies, suggesting that the state-of-the-art in disinformation is getting comically meta.

So there will eventually be a Case Study of the conspiracy to discredit the attempt to debunk conspiracies that propagate false conspiracies by falsely accusing the researchers of being part of a real conspiracy to falsely claim that what they believe are real conspiracies are in fact false. It's not hard to see how people get so burnt out on this circus that they just give up and support whomever says or even just implies that they know what's *really* going on and will take care of everything for us so there's no need for We the Peasants to worry our pretty little heads about any of it.

The sad part is all that hard work is undone with a few minutes via a few weaponized meme's. I have heard it described as someone going around throwing sticks of dynamite to get peoples attention. Two days to put out a fire and in a matter of minutes bang, boom, five more get started. You simply cannot keep up to people's attention spans, even if there is a detailed explanation debunking said idea, chances are nobody will follow up on it. The damage is done, onto the next explosion

Back when the first of the looting happened in Minianapolus with that Autozone incident where it appeared that a double agent broke the window to an Autozone at a time when the protest had just started I felt like it was the same tactics. These days you have to question yourself because literally every ideology seems to be weaponized by capitalism in some way.

Thanks for sharing, I gave their two case studies a read.
