Good evening Schroomies!
I would like to introduce you to my first pin, from my first batch:
His name is Steve and he weighs in at .0000021 grams.
Steve was conceived in the backseat of a Chevy Nova on Sept. 20, 2020 (boy was that a fun night!). It was touch and go there for a little while but Steve has pulled through and now I'm just waiting on his brothers and sisters to arrive.
I was under the impression that my jars stalled as you see the verm layer at the top but I just stayed patient as I read here that the cakes can shrink and the protective layer could fall down the sides which I think is what happened. The jars were packed pretty loosely so maybe I will fill in a little bit more next time.
I plan to keep Steve invitro, from what I understand about Invitro, I could open this up and shake out the verm layer to give it more space and then flip the jars. Am I correct on this? There are some write-ups saying I could also just leave it alone, but I think Steve is a big boy and will need more room.
Can I hear from some experts on this?
I couldn't have done it without this place, thank you!
/me hands out cigars
