I listened to both of these at work today and found them truly special. The prose of his book Nature describe a reality that is bigger than how most people see it. For me, the reality he describes in Nature has a lot of similarities to the reality I construct as a person who has done mushrooms. The audiobook is about two hours and perfect for putting on in the background or giving it a thorough listen along with reading.
The second is his essay titled Love. I really enjoyed the spectacularly whimsical descriptions of love and the insights and quips on it. Emerson has some really cool things to say about love in such a sharp and creative fashion that might even bring tears to your eyes as it is just so beautiful. If you have been in love or not this is a must listen! And since this essay is short I highly recommend this one to anyone interested in this mans writing but doesn't have the time to listen to all of Nature.
