Congratulations on finding your white.....I mean rusty whale!

I was gone for a couple days and came back to this mess. So, bag 2 of 6 is 1 and done. On the plus side, the mush were bigger.

It is interesting after growing the three crosses to note the level of bluing. The RW cross seems to blue very lightly. The PFRS cross would be 2nd with "normal" bluing. The APEU cross would appear to be the strongest with instant deep blue and a hint of green.

Another curiosity, maybe it is the age of the mush but when picking the PFRS cross, they seemed to break away, leaving a stump. Definitely makes it easier without toothbrush time after drying. I'll keep an eye on the other bags for this.

You can rehydrate that and fruit again right?

I probably could've tried, maybe soak and flip the sub? It seems when spores drop all over your sub that those spots fruit less if at all. This sub, bag and filters were all covered in spores and I'm lucky enough to have more bags on their way. Plus this single run filled 2 dehydrator trays. :)

Wow dayummmm!!
When I am done flushing when I finally get to the fruiting part of this, I plan to put the cake outside in a small corner near the brick. Hoping to have them grow Wild!! Lol and maybe some of them will cross genetics

Let me know if you try the PE/RW or any of them that you sample.. I’ll do the same. Had some more pea+ f5 tea (3g) this past weekend and it blew our minds. Ppl are gonna loooove pea+

Got a second flush from another PE/RW F2 sandwich baggie

Spawning the f3 tomorrow

The PE/pfrs zipblocks are knotting up.. shouldn’t be long now

Got pins on the PE/crs cakes.. second set were birthed on the 4th

Starting PE/pesa F2 qts tomorrow.. these I’m not sure if they crossed or not.. they were very pesa heavy if they did but definitely beefier than regular pesa I’ve run so we will see

Also putting pea+ f6 to qts tomorrow so that’s exciting :)

Haha.. nice! Was your PE/pfrs really ms heavy or did you do a few transfers? With the f2’s, I like to try and use as much ms as possible to get a lot of variation (not saying that you didn’t but just giving insight to what I do)… the rustys for these was definitely elusive.. didn’t see any in a couple f1 grows I did and none in the mini F2 either.. I think I just got lucky this time

I hate waiting on subs to fruit.. it makes me cook more grain because I don’t know what to do with myself lol

I did a mix of MS and a few T-1 that I tried to transfer large sections of. Maybe a T-2 too? The cheetah print is from T-1, the 2nd bag was MS. Next bag is MS.

The clone I took of the PE/apeu f2.. the fruit was a chimera but I think the tissue I took for the clone was albino only.. here’s the glc grains fruited out

The tub of those is about to pin
76DE2A01-3647-442D-B3BC-434F7695DD37.jpeg

Bummer there’s not gonna be a mix of clear and pigmented spores in the same cap but they look mean and the tub should look real nice.. any fruits with those heavy PE stem bumps always rock my world :)

The PE/pfrs bags are starting to pin up and I’m really excited to see how they compare to yoshi’s

Here is bag #4, a T-1. Because it was so covered in spores, I flipped the sub over and gave it a soak. I then taped a 1 gallon zip top bag over and poked a few holes for polyfil.

Bag #1 is on it's 2nd flush and bag #5 has baby mush forming.
