Thanks y’all. The claketi and maketi are both mak x yeti crosses. The maketi is a spore mixed (so ms and “maketi” is just what I wrote on the swab pack of them swabbed over each other so I stuck with it) cross and the claketi is where I used the glc (pulverized myc water) of each clone (that’s where the “cl” in front comes from) and mixed them to produce the cross (dedikaryonization via pulverization/damage to each clone myc). The names are just so I know which is which. It’s for my own labeling, not a released name or anything.

I sent out a handful of the fp+ f7 dried grain swab packs to some friends and it seems they all got to growing them at the same time lol. Here’s a couple more grows from other OMC members

I have a few quart jars of FP+ (LC) coming up along with the Gandalf (Two-pint agar drops looking LUVLy).  Had some issues in real life, so the first try of FP+ and Gandalf went to shit because of it.  Slower year for me, but that's all right, I have plenty and it's how Life be sometimes.  A slice of humble pie taking "EASY" Cubes for granted not giving AF either way is a horrible attitude, and I didn't deserve them NOR did I need to be growing at that time.  Anyway, I'm back doing what WE do and I'm hoping for a 1.5 - 2-month banger of Tubs.  We will SEE. Your work is remarkable fungus friend, Keep doin' What YOU DO.

Those are some SICK ASS pics of the FP+ from everyone, I have a quart jar that is close, and Gandalf is about 10 days in spawned (looks good, crossing fingers).  Those Mak clones are just as UGLY as they wanna be, I LIKEIT!  I need to run the MAK again (for a clone or two), 1.8 sent my friends (new to mushrooms) friend to the MOON.  Be careful with the MAK Attack, it WILL bite back.

Claketi in 1/2 pints on BRF/verm with a bag taped on top (no FAE). First jar had some great wavey caps.



I wished I noticed the little guy before opening the jar, I'd cloned him.

Fp+ x mak TP tub didn’t turn out as I would’ve liked. Looks like the fp+ dominated. It’s weird because the MTP was the first to recover and its myc growth is much faster than the fp+ so I know there’s MTP myc in the tub yet the whole surface pinned.

While it doesn’t look like I got a cross (or at least one that I’d like to continue with or try and even find), I did get a consolation prize of 2+ oz of my favorite mush to eat. :)


I’m going to redo the grow in the fall with the two clones except use “live” active myc instead of the dried glc grains (revive the cultures first like I did with the claketi tub) and see if there’s any difference between this tub and that one.

Still could be something interesting pop up in the 2nd and 3rd flushes so not all hope is lost for a cross but I’m not gonna hold my breath on this one

My season is about over.. taking the last two tubs until they tam out.

PE/RW f7 clone 2nd flush was pretty good for already throwing out 104g. Spores are chocolate brown.



The fp+ f8 clone tub kinda crapped out. I don’t think it likes a thick top layer. Most of the fruits that did mature on both flushes so far have been around the edges where the layer was thinner. I had 3g of tea of the first flush last night and ho lee fuck.. definitely stronger than the f7 and I really like the pheno so I think I have a good plan when I grow them out again in the fall. Going back to just enough of a top layer to cover the grains and then when it fully colonizes, I’ll throw a 1/2” peat casing on it. I think this’ll really help. It’s never failed yet.
