I have 5 half pints that I nocd with Golden Teacher a month ago. They have shown absolutely 0 signs of mycelium or bacteria. They look the same as the day I sterilized them.
Would it be safe to pressure cook them again, then re noc them in an SAB? They are brf cakes. I'm almost positive the reason these are duds is because I forgot to shake the syringe before every injection. Which would be why they show 0 growth.
What do you guys think? Toss or re noc?

Toss! Its cheap to make more. The moisture ratio will be whack. Plus if there is any problems then it will make it that much more difficult for you to narrow it down to what you did wrong. Set your self up for success from the beginning.

I'm in agreement. It's probably less than 30 mins to make 5 jars, then just the time to sterilize and cool and you'll have perfect new cakes for a perfect new grow.

I've done so. Never had a dud grow, even after a second inoculation. That being said, if I had paid 15 bucks for a spore, then no. If I had my own spore solution, I might give a shot if It wasn't my primary project and I didn't need the jars.
