Figured I’d try and keep good track of my newest grow. Well see if I can remember to take pics of my process and progress.

Each of us has a way we were taught/learned/read etc etc. and it’s not going to be as everyone else’s way. Nevertheless “Here we grow”

I use a plate and damp paper towels to coax the girls out To play.

11 o’clock- Durban Poison

1 o’clock - Sterling Haze

3 o’clock - Blue Dream

5 o’clock - Maui Wowie

7 o’clock - Pre ‘99 Big Bud

9 o’clock - Bubblicious

All Nirvana genetics.

Tap root has emerged

Cover, and heat mat on. And now with keeping plugs moist, checking every other day or so keeping things moist and warm.

Nice to wake up to. 2days to germination, a few are still trying to break free but 100% germ. Always love Nirvana genetics!



Such a lady wearing her Sunday hat. (Borderline Dad joke). To me nothing more beautiful than a seedling, the magic and medicine this little thing holds with in her, makes me smile. Something so small that has such a huge impact on our society.

So I’m trying something a little diff, usually i grow out a bit more till stem is at least 1/4” dia. But seeing if I can speed things up A bit. But that’s one of the reasons i grow out 2 sets of seeds for each strain.



Ready to roll. Let’s see if it works. I’m sure it will.



Use a splash of each of these in my Turbo Klone reservoir. Makes a HUGE diff in healthy root production.





Humidity dome on and now we wait. If it works and they don’t rot out or die on me, Should see noticeable changes in growth with in a week or so.

Coming along nicely, root production is moving as I expected.





Could be stressing a bit from reservoir needing changing but there looking good. I’ll change out water tomorrow.

I’ve add the other 6 seedlings. I was able to find them a home, my buddy who got me started in this years ago he’s was running low on diff genetics. Love when things work out. Would of hated to toss

Getting close to transfer to tent and get things going. Roots are doing very well. I’m thinking after the new year.

I would say though, they look like they need some Magnesium or zinc.  Try some epsom salts first to see how they respond.

My only thought is the plug
Is dropping some funkiness in to
Res , By being blasted with water. I say that With having nothing but amazing results with a straight clone in the past.

Initially my thoughts were it’s lacking N but add a ml more of cloneX on last res change and no significant change. Im contemplating cutting the plug of the roots now that they have got some substance to them. But didn’t want to stress em. (But would probably bounce back on full nutes) I’m pressing pause on doing anything more. And hoping they will get healthier when on nutes. They smell great and some are doing great with Holy hands to the gods.

Planning on getting them in the tent here soon.

Added week ones nutes.

2ml of each GH-micro, gro and bloom. Perked up nicely over night. Plan is tomorrow get them in the Hydroton and baskets.

Late update. This girls are rowdy, and ready. Have to make time this week to put into tent. (I’ve been slacking)

Better late then never. I start off at every 4hrs for 45m soaks. (Each switch is 15m) that tends to increase as the girls get bigger and drink more.





Each site is 4g and there are 6 sites. I used to fill at 30g of nutes. But was wasting so much on the dumps I’m starting at 20g. (Yes the math doesn’t equal out so maybe I’m a few g off. )






Calibration of doser, first at 7.



Then at 4 it’s a 2/3 step cal I only do 2
Steps.



Cal of my other monitor. First is a doser this tells
Me PPM TDS and Conductivity and keeps my doser from lying. Haha.








There looking a bit Peaked but will bounce back back in a day or less. On full nutes. I was
Slacking and should of gotten them in the tent a week ago.

Holy shit that is a beautiful thread right here.  I don't stray that much into the green side of the the 'Topia, as I need a new hobby like a hole in the head.  But... my lab for mushies is at the point where some cross-over could be good! And it sure would be nice to not have to go looking/paying for the green stuff (and instead sink all that $$$ into additional grow equipment  )

 

But seriously this looks gorgeous, great job Choices!

Pulling up a chair, those roots look awesome! Aerocloners are the shit. I like your recirculating hydro system with the netting. I did a net recently and it served its purpose but was a hassle for me. So it was back to smart pots and soil and tomato cages. Lol
