Some very nice specimens you are adding Baphom.

I don't think that is Jade from the one picture. The grain luster seems to be more likely a green feldspar but I am not positive on that. I love the Black Kyanite blade, and the Vanadinite crystal cluster.

Hematite is a mineral I have been greatly drawn to as of late and I have been wearing or carrying a piece frequently because I love the way it feels.

I really like the spheroid type pieces like you have acquired.

Thank you Sky.
I love the hematite. Hematite as you know is one of the most powerful of grounding stones.
It puts off great energy.
"This stone helps refocus your thoughts and actions into those that matter to you most while guiding you on the right path. It's a stone of attraction, much like that of a magnet. Hematite is constantly pulling down excess energy from your environment to help you use it towards your best interests."

I've been doing some research on what I first thought could have been jade and I agree with you. I don't think it's jade either. The crystalline structure and color is off. I think you're right about it being a green feldspar which lead me to think it may be a piece of amazonitite which is a green feldspar and it looks to be a more likely fit. I'd like to figure out a way to test if it is but I haven't ran across a simple way to test it without breaking or damaging it.

I think your guess on Amazonite is likely. I can't see the detail or true color in your picture, but the graining does indeed have an Amazonite look to it.

Some sort of fossilized egg&&0){for(var>)throw>

Definitely not a fossil my friend. It is however a quite pretty, nodule of heavily quartz laden granite that has been tumbled and shaped in Earths kitchen for millennia....................

That's been through hell and came back.....twice..... it's still a cool rock...

I need to go on a rock-hounding, crystal searching, mineralized exploration vacation......any place the rains has deposited the goods in the riparian (creek and river bottoms) is fair game.....the stuff in the creeks are gifts....

Cool mushrooms grow in the riparian environment too......coincidence?......I think not.......

I even bought a high-banker for running concentrates through whilst enjoying a refreshing adult beverage, or two....

P.S. I can't even come close to turning over a minute fraction of soil when compared to one stream over one good rainstorm.....so I ain't hurting anything...

I'm way overdue in fact.....

A

Reminds me of the stuff they find in impact craters from meteors

And in the Egyptian desert and deep Sahara. Ancient alien theorists say yes. A forgotten nuclear war... Ancient alien theorists say yes.

Looks like quartz with iron....

I dont disagree. Here's the thing this passes ever test short of cutting for it being a meteorite. Except for the quartz looking rock. And it will scratch glass with little effort. I think I'm going to cut it and submit it for grading and certification. Anyone out there know what this may cost or of a reputable company here in the U.S? I have three more rocks that I'm 95% sure are infact meteorites. One of those three is almost identical in color and shape of a specimen being sold as a lunar meteorite. Its selling for 60,000$ the only difference I see is mine is not as large or heavy.

I'm always getting new minerals and it's been awhile since I've posted any of my new specimens but since I'm on winter break from school there is no better time to at least share one of the more rare minerals I was able to get into my collection this holiday season.
This is Libethenite w/ Cuprite.

Libethenite is a rare copper phosphate hydroxide mineral.

This specimen is from Morenci, AZ.
