Thank you, Arathu! I've spent the morning do the same. Very relaxing

I'm looking forward to joining the woodlovers thread once I meet my newbie post #!  I have some Allenii spawn going.

Welcome LoneRanger! Fellow cactus cultivators are always welcome.

Been keeping an eye on mine over the winter too. They're indoors (in a cold, enclosed patio) awaiting warm weather.

I'll need to separate and re-pot them this season.

Planning to raid some ant-hills soon to rob the spoil piles. The perfectly sized gravel works great as a top-dressing when planting cacti. I like to put an inch or two on the top surface of the pot to discourage pests. It works like the vermiculite layer in a PF Tek jar.

I'll see if I can manage a write-up of the process once the season is right.

Hi Myc, thank you!

Right on, that would be a cool write-up if you have the time. Do you havre any photos?

Here's a BK0812.4 T peru (grafted, center of photo)

Shoot, I'm not sure why the photos are rotated to the left 90 degrees?

I think it has to do with the native image orientation when you took the pic on your phone.

As for pics of my garden, I'll have to snap some when I get a chance. Nothing remarkable to see at this time since they're hibernating and not receiving any water. It'll be a day or two before I can get around to the photos.

Nice collection you have there. Lots of blue looking characters and lots of long spines.

Thanks Myc! That makes sense about the orientation when I took the photos. I edited them in Mac Photos but maybe I need to try another photo editor to get it to stay rotated.

Hi Pharmer, thank you!

I bought them direct from Sacred Succulents. About half of my collection came from them.

Hi Pharmer, thank you!

I bought them direct from Sacred Succulents. About half of my collection came from them.

The first half of my collection came from there as well. The other half from trades around here.
