So I ran into this issue with past grows as well as my last grow which was from a different vendor. The first flush of my last grow had mutants in the first round of fruits, but then cleared up after first flush. So, I pegged it up to being a sterility mistake. I have a new grow going from a different vendor, so I changed up my sterility tek a bit to see if it was something I had done.
My tek for cleaning my tubs is just straight hot soap and water, wipe dry, then wipe out with iso 70% let it completely dry then transfer.
But for some reason, I am getting some mutations in the beginnings of my first flushes with this new grow. This is not the first time this has happened. I've had it happen several times and successive flushes always seem to turn out with no mutations. I do not use bleach or lysol which can cause mutations. I just can't seem to put my finger on what might be causing this.
Any ideas as to why?
