i Have two commercial grade ozone generators i use to sanitize and  deodorizer each room in my house on a monthly basis 

Caution !  at these concentrations of ozone  all pets , house plants and people MUST be cleared out the room to be treated First  .

You  defiantly  don't want to breath it . it kills bacteria , mold , mold spores skin mites , ect. it dissipates after about 30 min an is then safe .

  i also have a little mini one that bubbles threw water , it is generating  a very small amount and i am assuming its OK for  people and  plants pets ect . but  i am not  100% sure .. 

I definitely like using ozone to sanitize my clean room Before  agar work ect ... Followed with hepa filtration . 

Remember..... pets , house plants and people MUST be cleared out first  !i usually treat each room for about 3 hours once month .

Just do a little research on the  unites you own and use . BE SAFE !

here is my other machine ,Airthereal Commercial Ozone Generator, 5000mg/h O3 Machine Home Air Ionizers Deodorizer /Sanutizer for Rooms, removes oders like Smoke, Cars and Pets,

i bought both machines from amazon .i got them both with a discout because pakaging was smooshed a bit, i nothing wrong with new genirator sce both had about 2 inchs of styrafoam molded packing .i think you can buy replacment ceramic plates if you wish , to have  spares .

i try and treat each room in the house for 2 or 3 hours per month . you must still clean wel first with diluted  bleach, vacuum  ect .  before ozone . but this make your house a  more healthy getting rid of , mold . spores . dust mites ect

 

but a good treatment in a room before  inoculating Agar work ect ,  is good just make sure you give ozone 30 to 60 min to dissipate . before you inter room freshly showered with clean right out of dryer cloting , gloves ect . I am going to order a cpl replacement ceramic plates and eletric seating grease . so i can  replace when i reach the end of the current plates 5,000 hour  life . .....maybe

I’ve got one too, still in the box . If you had tubs going on in the room too it’d mess them up too I assume ?

Be aware also that ozone is quite corrosive to many materials. Rubber for example will harden and crack, loosing flexibility after repeated exposure.

FOAF was considering running it in DWC, with ozonated water periodically, as has been done in many other hydro systems. As long as the PPM deosn't get too high I hope this doesn't cause any issues. By the time it goes into the air it shouldn't touch the plant, but may touch the roots... This could be like a micro air pruning, IDK..

FYI ozone falls down to the ground, so if you have it running in a room upstairs, you can still get some lung inflamation downstairs.  Also I have an ozone ppm air tester, and I don't remember the reading, but it lasts much more than a half hour. It will be about half as powerful in air every half hour. Most people can tolerate it, but if you have a health condition or sensitivity, you may want to allow several hours before entering an area running one of those machines...

Ozone in water is much safer as far as I know, but I'm going to test it out at some point... I hope it doesn't do this to the plants :D

i use ozone to sanitize rooms when nothing is growing in it .. living things must be removed first Doh .you can  return your living things after you sanitize .. simple .  .i   like using ozone as part of my sanitizing of  clean room before any  agar work is to been done in front of laminar .. or inoculations  for example .

 

when i periodically give a room an ozone treatment .i remove pets or house plants before i treat  the room to kill  bacteria mold mold spores . skin mites .  i would never  treat a grow area with ozone while it had any growing ....ummm things in it .

 

ozone also is great for getting rid of nasty odors . like pet smells , tobacco smells  ,, getting rid of nasty odors left by visiting relatives  ....after they leave ha ha

using ozone requires just a bit of common sense and care .......start with reading the directions ..........doh .

Some large grows try to use it for stealth, but I believe they run it in the exhaust area and run an exhaust trap so it doesn't smell up the town
I'm experimenting with it in DWC buckets, in water 15minutes a day. The plants don't seem to mind it in the water. My theory is to keep algae down, not have to change the reservoir, and feed the roots oxygen. My theory is that I can top feed to control nutes where the plant absorbs them most, and leave the roots to collect mostly water with lighter solutions of nutrients, but eventually may try just plain PH'd water. I might also increase the ozone treatments to multiple times a day.

I grew up in Los Angeles in the 1960's.  The summer air was usually brown with smog.  The view of the mountains to the north were usually blocked by the haze.  The nitrogen dioxide in the air gave it a brown color.  There was also ozone, both are powerful oxidizers.  I used to go swimming every day during the summer.  My lungs would be so burned by the smog, I could only take in a 1/2 a breath before I would feel a pain in my lungs.  Pollution control made a big difference.

 

So ozone can be useful in forcing an oxidizing chemical reaction.  As for biological processes, it is pure poison.
