every couple of years i have morels pop up under my deck. Had a nice surprise this morning while taking out the garbage. That one is a monster, full size Bic for comparison.

NICE!!
It is snowing here right now so we will see what's popin over the next week or so... It had just rained and I was pretty excited to see if anything was fruiting but then of course it had to snow one last time for good measure...

Killer find Warf, and it's nice to see you kicking around :)
I had a small patch of morels surprise me last season just outside of my firewood shed. I'm hoping to see more this year, but it is still several weeks before I can see the ground here.
