Hello Mycotopiates,

This is my first time posting to Wild Mushrooming!

Last Year in October I found some specimen that look a lot like an edible Boletus variety in my backyard. They were found growing underneath an oak tree.

Region: East Coast Canada

Can someone tell me if they are indeed a Boletus Edulis variety?

There are so many different Bolete mushrooms and many of them look similar. Here is a tool I have used to identify one from another.
