high likely hood the virus continues to mutate, to something even worse

and at the same time

Global Warming creates more disasters

so that the whole system becomes more precarious

and vulnerable

to any new wild cards, that are a little more freaky than some of the recent ones like:

ransom ware,  more forest fires, more police violence, & totally unexpected floods,

(not to mention various assassinations and coups d'etat)

 

At which point perhaps Random chaos would not be surprising
