Something has been eating the new growth and buds it seems like to me. It is mainly on new growth and the budsites I thought maybe slugs or snails but I don't see any trails. I switched these over to flower a couple weeks ago from t5 to 600watt LEDs. Have them in fox farm ocean forest and only watered straight RO water. There was significantly more damage today when I went in there. I'm posting a few pictures. I'm going to look at them in the dark to see if anything comes out. I read that snails and slugs come out at night. I'm going to lose two otherwise healthy plants if I can't get this resolved. Hope someone has some ideas. TIA

Its not just new growth but fan leaves are affected as well. Looks like something is eating from the vein outwards and up the leaf.

Looks like you have a caterpillar. I would bet its green one too, that matches the plant and blends in well. If you have one of those UV inspection flashlights you can sometime spot them at night with it.

Thanks Coorsmikey, I looked and looked and looked couldn't find one on the plant but I will take a closer look today after work.

+1 for catterpillar or tomato cutworm. Good luck finding that sucker!

Again +1 for caterpillars. Look on the plants just before lights on. Use a flashlight. They are nocturnal.

 

Look for little black balls. That's their poop. Look under the leaves.

 

Catch a Goldfinch and put it in your grow room. That bird will find it ASAP. LOL j/k

 

Never seen a caterpillar on an inside grow. They are nasty for outdoor growers but it's the one pest I have never had.

BT organic spray if you need to, just spray in the evening.

I am totally baffled by what this is. Whatever it is is only eating between the veins. I thought a caterpillar eats the entire leaf. Some leaves it starts at the base of the leaf and works its way upward. On the fan leaf in the picture it almost reminds me of a leaf miner bc it looks like it's getting devoured from the inside of the leaf. I took them outside to just grow them outdoors if they survive. I put some diatomaceous earth around the top of the soil so whatever is eating will get a mouthful or walk through it.

I'm guessing slugs or snails maybe. I ordered a UV flashlight so I could see them at night if there are caterpillars. I guess its not entirely in-between the veins of the leaf. Its still a mystery.

I did have one trail of a leaf miner, but it seems they don't like cannabis much. I hope you nail the sucker!

Do you have a cat by any chance? It looks similar anyway. The leaves stick to thier tongues and instead of chewing them off they end up ...... Well , like that! If not try neem oil

I think it was a caterpillar or grasshopper. I do have two cats outside but they don't bother them. I put diatomaceous earth on the soil and on the plants leaves itself. Found a dried out dead caterpillar on the edge of the smart pot so I'm thinking that was the culprit.

UPDATE! 

 

This was due to running a sulfer burner. I had some WPM I was trying to get rid of and I ran it for 12 hours one time and another time 4 hours one day and 4 the next day so everything was efficiently covered to kill the WPM. So this happened when the lights were back on and since they were pretty intense LEDs the sulphur must have magnified the light and burned the plants inside the veins. I sacrificed some plants but I don't have a problem with the dreaded wpm anymore which I am so thankful for because that stuff was a bitch. I about went crazy trying to figure out if it was caterpillars or some pest.
