I swear those pans are mexicans! Pans always amaze me with the variety of phenotypes, what type are these?

Shoot man, they might be, I've had some horrible luck with wrong syringes or labels(as you already know). Suppose to be PAN CYAN Oregon, but am I confident they are... FACK no.
I'm leaving them alone now to develop a real CAP for a print and really see the final results of this strain. I should know by Friday or Saturday from this Second flush. This is the best fruit
I've seen So far.

BRO.... QUESTION Away... I do every day, but it's the price I pay... to play... in a state that's...(too easy) I'll stop there.
It's the Cost of Business to have a good time in almost anything we do... this hobby is no different. I buy in bulk so... CHEAP COB and free Manure. I also build my own Soil for Cannabis so some of the stuff is interchangeable(peat/verm/gypsum). All for the FUN(gi).

I've been meaning to post in the PAN thread, it's been awhile, I was hoping for at least some mature fruits, and then go from there. Hard to identify when they are young and immature, that being said, I highly doubt these are psilocybe mexicana.
In other news, I checked on the Ape Shoebox(easy swap over) and she's doing well and showing the very first PIN. Not bad, about 5 days from casing after the first flush. Fat little sucker so it looks healthy. I'll let the casing do all the work for me this time, it's tough in this climate without it(and takes little effort to pasteurize in jars). I have been successful without casings, but it just makes life easier and Peat is cheap for a big bale.
The TAT Smurf (Oats) are moving along decent, but I wouldn't call them fast or anything, but comparatively to the TAT/Melmac... it IS Fast. The Estero mycelium looks BEAUTIFUL, I'm excited for new genetics and it's definitely more off white than Cubes so... I won't hold my breath tho'.

Throw it up on the Pan thread and see what they think.

I do think you are on the right track however, these early guys look like Tampanensis.

I think they are classified as Mexicanae. So definitely related. Originally found in Tampa,FL I guess. I don't know too much about Tamps, other than they are decently potent in fruit form, and mainly cultivated for Stones.

My money is NOW on TAMP's, I would put 2-1 ODDS Against. Everything matches and ADDs Up. I would of grown them different and a slightly thicker casing if I knew they were TAMPS from the beginning. The Struggle is REAL.... The quest for PANS.... still tryin'...
The APE tub still only showing 1 Pin this morning, all good, it will start pushing out many Pins soon. Can't wait to see what the second flush pushes out.

Yeah they dry down to nearly nothing. I couldn't believe I had 4.2 with what it looks like. When I'm done with the sub, I'll see if there are any stones in there forming. Who knows. Not what I bargained for being TAMPS instead of
PANS, but that's old news and so is that Source. After this flush, I may just throw a thicker casing on and see what happens.

Not much to report today, it looks like a few of the TAMPS aren't growing much more so I may pull them tonight or tomorrow. Honestly, even though this syringe isn't what it's suppose to be,.. I'm excited for them, they are a cool looking strain(will this turn into my favorite psilocybe... I dunno it's possible). I told the source about himself(professionally.. no name calling.. I'm a Realist), had a trich'd out syringe from him awhile back too(verified on agar and grain, excuses of course.. a legend in his own Mind.. and a LIAR to boot). Word to the wise, don't Lie(and a thief) to someone who has done there homework and knows your full of Horse Manure.
Alright, the APE tub is just doing it's thing, popped another PIN out yesterday SO... TWINS. Beautiful bright white PINS, gave them a super light spritz this morning for some beads, but nothing crazy like 4 sprays. Small tray so it doesn't take Much... especially being cased.
The little straw tub is doing ok, I probably should of kept it in the shoebox for pinning(higher humidity), then transferred it over to the old Mono Tub. Working on the fly with these TAMPS, they love the AIR tho' after pinning.

I did pick a few of the ripe fruits(20 mins ago) today of the Tamps. The gills look brownish-purple and I'm sure that the print will reflect that if it drops spores for me. Cool look to them tho', SO not a LOSS.

Yeah, I assume that the different look is due to the environment. They get a lot more UV outside, even in the shade. Plus the changes in RH, increased FAE, etc.The fruits I have grown outside were PE6 and they definitely came out more Yellowish(sunburst almost) Caps(BIG CAPS outside), but yeah, easy to identify and definitely MORE potent IME(Crazy Blue). Those suckers look healthy and that is definitely Coco, I'm sure you are GTG(looks like B+ too). I get freebie Chestnuts and Shiitakes sometimes in my Compost Pile. Always cools to see Mother Nature taking care of business AS intended.
Not much to report today... tubs still just doing there thing popping out fruits. The mystery fruits are Cool... I like em'.
Ape tub still rollin', another PIN popped and should be kicking out plenty more in the next day or two(or 3) it's patience with PE.
There like Bowling PINS...
In other news, the "Estero" jar is fully colonized, 10 days, sounds promising, but at this point, everything I grow is Subject to change. I'm learning these mystery tamps as I go.
I just realized I haven't put up a full surface pic of the APE.

Alright guys and gals, the FUN never stops. I just want to say that I realized I've been NEGative lately and that's JUST not ME. The truth is, I don't take this serious at all(I do in technique and Skillset.. not in life or end results) and I probably should of just let the situation(source) go and be done with it... my BIG personality forbids me sometimes from doing so and it's just who I am. The funny thing is, these TAMPS are growing on me and hopefully when I have time I can test them out. Movin' ON...
Pasteurizing up a mix of Manure/Straw/Verm/little Coco and Gypsum. 3 jars loaded up for some Oat spawning later today. I'm spawning the "EsterO" and seems promising with the Data. Wispy mycelium and fluffy, and smashed through some Oats in about 9-9.5 Days(fastest I've seen for a psychoactive to date... Turkey Tail is 7-8 Days DONE). The Tamp was 11ish days, the current TAT variations are on Day 12 and the Smurf is close, probably Day 14-15(will finish), guessing the TAT/Melmac day 15-16, the APE was 18 so it probably won't get any longer or worse as far as spawn timeframes go. Not that I'm in a hurry... I can wait.
My Work Horse
Oats... SO Simple and Effective
I want to run this strain in the MARTHA
37 minutes LATA
Turned on heat while Checking the jars and water temp.
90 Minute Timer(well above 140F)... Set it and Forget it. :)

The Pasteurized jars are cooling and it only takes about an hour and half... BAGS are WAY longer to cool, but can process more at a time... pick your poison. I'm going to split the jar into two trays, should be
plenty of spawn and rip right through with no issues(hopefully anyway). I'm confident in my pasteurization process... but U Never know(keep an open mind).

Another update, no much going on really, a few pictures for your viewing Pleasure. :)
These are going to be BIG
Biggest Cap thus far, I don't see spores yet
So I'm letting it go longer. Fairly slow fruiter

Alrightie Topiates... I stripped the Tamps and recased it thicker and I want to get a few prints(if I can). The thin casing just runs out of steam to fully develop all the way(fairly slow fruiter and loves AIR). I did however get some WAY better looking caps than the first flush and I'm up to a quarter of dried fruits. I've revisited Stone's TAMP page and man, these can pull some really nice canopies of fruits so just GETTING to know the species at this point. I'll definitely call this one a "Happy Accident".
The APE tub is fruiting from everywhere, even have some on the bottom of the sub in the grooves since I swapped the sub over from a different type of tub(close.. but different). There are some fat fruits on the bottom so I bet these APE's would do well in Invitro Bags.
Finally have some decent knots on the Surface,
should see more popping up Soon.

Alrighty ya'll, the TAMP tub still nothing going on but just recased it a few days ago so letting it do it's thing.
OH how I LOVE thee APES...
Last picture is the bottom of the tub, when I swapped it
over and cased it, this tub has grooves and the other was
smooth. Check the fruit in between the tub groove and Sub gap.
There all over the place. All good, I'll flip the sub when I'm ready to
harvest the tub(I don't care where they pop from at this point).
Starting to see some pinning on the surface, kind of
slow colonizing the Peat, but not Horse Manure(with CVG), Ripped right through it.
