Ah I'm tired. Going to take a bath.
Thanks for tuning in.
A couple more as if this was the end of the prom:
How can one be nostalgic for a time they didn't know?
All I can say is I love this music, and I remember my dad's studio. He spent thousands on his record players and speakers, and I used to sit in there with him drawing in my coloring books while he played music. Music means so very much to me. I can't even explain.
I keep posting on this site like the diary nobody will read, and those that do forgive, forget, and move on. I thank you for that. I just have to get some things out there sometimes.
I'm nobody. I don't expect an audience. I know I'll regret all of this in the morning, but for now, I don't even care.

Ah, what the heck, this deserves an encore!
I actually danced to this one at a club once! ----
Why is there no music this good anymore? What happened? LOL
AAAH! Ok that's it, for cereal. To bed with thee!
Whew... I'm tired.

Good to see ya Darci! May I suggest a visit to the Grassroots forum? I mean since the last time you scored you could have grown you own.

I remember seeing a bunch of these on HBO when it first became a thing. I had such a crush on Kim Carnes at the age of 11 or so.
Anyone else remember the tuner boxes required for receiving HBO and similar channels? Or am I just that old?

That's back when most well to do living rooms had a huge console TV that needed three good sized lads to move it, lol. It's also been a few years since we've had to open up a side panel, and adjust the vert hold, to keep the picture from rolling :)
Back when you could go into almost any grocery chain, or hardware store and use their tube tester for free, to diagnose your vacuum tube problems.
I'm not sure exactly why, but I miss vacuum tubes....

Tubes and amps! HBO boxes existed but not the ones you guys remember. I remember always needing the switches to switch between a VCR and a NES. Channel 3 too...
Wife and I try and have dance parties weekly. Good cardio and we're just two fools not caring. There not our club/wedding dance moves. She's a gymnast, dancer, cheerleader type and I'm the bass playing dude with poor rhythm. Psychedelics and her forcing me to dance really improved my rhythm. Anyways here's our typical playlist.
Start it groovy and slow.
psychdellic R&B that can touch any genre
Salsa or sometype of latin groove
Waltz
Daft punk probably

Digging John Mayer's 80's album

Cool down

Dog makes it hard and we too old to make it through the playlists. Sia and Dua Lipa get good rotation. 90'-00's jams too. Outkast, Ace of Base, TLC

Well so this looks like I'm turning it into my personal dancing thread. I'm going to go with some music of a different theme now. I have my moods. I would describe this stuff as slithery, sultry, dark, brooding, and wanting. I'm turning the sound up loud enough to shake the walls. The candles are lit. I still have some weed and a bottle of wine.
And here are the song links:
Lana Del Rey - Million Dollar Man
Bruce Springsteen - I'm On Fire
Jeff Buckley - Lover You Should Have Come Over
Sade - Sweetest Taboo
