Back in the latter part of spring I was gifted a (ms) syringe of RW spores from a friend I helped get started in cultivation. So, back on 5th of July I nocc'd up a 2lb bag of rye with 2.5 cc.
So far they look great but the only thing I'm noticing is that they are SO FREAKIN' SLOW to colonize. I am wondering if that's the way RW colonizes?
Here I am at Aug. 13th and this is what the RW bag is looking like. I'm not looking to break the grains apart to recolonize at this point yet. I tend to let all the outside get white and then break apart the grain. And as you can see in the pics we're not quite there.
