I was pondering what could have caused my Thai Elephant Dung Cube fruits to turn out hollow and possibly (anecdotally affirmed) weaker in potency and I'm wondering if my Thai Elephant trays were hit with Verticilium? I was wondering if anyone knows if there's an already established connection between substrate infected with verticilium and a reduction in potency of the fruits? I get that genetics play a major role in potency as well.

I don't think I've ever seen a fruit that hollow... not a bad assumption it's Verticillium.  Bummer on the potency, any bluing or No.

Not every fruit turned out hollow but most of the bigger ones turned out to be hollow.

Are these later flush fruits or first flush?

These were from the first flush. the larger stipe is from a mushroom I had posted a picture of while it was still on the substrate over at the cult-ivation pics thread. The substrate I had used had been sitting out for over a week due to some other things that came up requiring priority that kept me from getting around to spawning the Thai Elephant myc.
