Hey that thick mycelium with blobs tan or even pinkish im pretty sure thats a stoma.
It forms a thick mas and does colonize very fast. That was the right thing to do i dont think it would have harmed other grows but it wouldnt have produced anything either so..there was nothing you could have done.
Thanks! Now I know what it is and what to look for. I've never seen or held blobs, what kind of consistancy do they have? Soft like shrooms or something more akin to a denser character?
