I was hoping to show the photo of the 3.230kg's of San Pedro I have ready to "Process". However, things are not playing ball! Anywho, the sliced, de-cored and mainly skin is in the food dryer.

I of course cannot see how you are doing it, but the process is to click the use full editor button at the bottom of your window. That will pull up the attach files from your computer option, and you follow the prompts.
Tell me what you have been doing and seeing, and I will try to coach. You have been successfully posting pictures, what has been different in your method this time?

Doing everything as per usual and as you described. It must be at my end. Something has changed and I hope it will rectify itself. Somewhat frustrating!

Anywho, can't do photo's at the mo', but that wont stop a description. 3.230kg of wet San Pedro material has been dried down to 320 gms. 1/10th of original weight. Now in the process of powdering. Stubborn pieces need to be put back through the coffee grinder. "Sift, grind, sift, grind!" I tasted some of the dust that got on my hand; bitter to the point of almost numbing! An encouraging sign!

probable yield of 3.2 g
PARTY at Ferritious' house!
LOL!
Pictures are finally playing ball! Kinda! #.230kg wet (With dicarded cores in background) and 320gm dry and powdered. Yeah, pharmer, 3.2gm was my guess as well.

OK, in case you thought I'd given up, all things with time. I've done the tea from the San Pedro and it's in the freezer. Been out catching crabs and will do next week as well. Priorities! Did three pulls using citric acid. The recipe I'm following said with adequate acidification each boil/pull should only require 20 minutes; so, that's what I went with. Final results will tell!

Time to de-fat. 1 litre of San Pedro tea to 250ml xylene. This will be done 3 times. This is the first one. As I used it straight from the fridge, I've decided to warm it up with a brew belt. When warmed I'll turn it off. Don't want the xylene to evaporate. Separatory funnels are a must; so much easier!

Unfortunately, everybody's kinda have to get used to my photos been on the side!

You could take your photos sideways like your phone was a camera, Then when you want to talk on it hold it vertical to your ear. I know back in the day of 110 film it was weird to hold the camera sideways to take a portrait shot of a person and horizontal for normal pictures. Now everyone is so accustom to smartphone being held upright that we forget the natural orientation of landscape. There is a lot more that I could elaborate but just to keep it simple so people don't get intimidated by old vs new tech. Simply put for everyone reading in ( I see a lot a sideways sideways photos) just use you camera as it was going to be on your widescreen which is a Landscape Orientation. Take your selfies upright and when you post them to Mycotopia we will all have to turn ours heads to see what you look like.

LOL! I'll give it a go buddy; but smart phone orientation dictates no matter how your phone is held, then that's upright. Surely there's someway of circumventing this dilemma! I've tried turning the photo around in "Edit", but it still didn't work! I'll try further and see if I can sort this bollocks out.

If you haven't discarded any of the materials from the extraction you can restart and run the entire process again. Good chance you'll recover more extract.
