I'm trying to figure out how to stick the genes that produce cannabinoids into kudzu.
One lab is already growing GM yeast that they claim produces psilocybin, or it might just be psilocin (can't recall for sure).
I imagine that CRISPR is going to produce a lot of content for my Chaos Chronicles thread in coming years. But maybe the high-energy particle accelerator crowd will beat apocalyptic genetic fuckups to the punch and generate a black hole that swallows the whole planet instead.

On 2nd thought, I think brewers yeast would be a better organism than commercial edible mushrooms, as It's not good to dose unsuspecting people. And there are vast numbers of home brewers. Then commercial beer bottles could be recycled....
