So, it's looking like I'm 3 for 3 on females! I can't see hairs on one of the big ones, yet, but I'm seeing pointy calyx-y formations.

Interesting differences between these two. The left one has fatter leaves closer to the base, but they kind of narrow out higher up. The other looks straight sativa. Both are putting off some side shoots. Not sure if I should remove them, or just give them more sunlight...

And here is the "Little Abomination", looking quite good. It's been inside the entire grow. It's been under 12/12 for about 2wks now.

Seeing the difference between the first two growing under these same lights w/ maybe a week of mylar, and this one who has been in the mylar since 3" high. I suspect that a couple packs of these Barrina T5s would do pretty well in a grow closet, but will definitely need to be mounted on an adjustable backplate/heatsink.

Literally right after the last post, I decided to LST the indoor plant. Perhaps not the best timing, but the bud-sites on the lower stem started perking up and growing towards the light. The extra headroom also allows me to get the canopy closer to the lights. So far, she's looking great [considering the lighting situation]!

I also cut some of the lower spindly offshoots from the outdoor plants, trying to re-veg them so I can grow them out a bit and maybe get a Christmas harvest.

Since I'm trying to acclimate the loph seedlings to sunlight, I took two of the lights I was using for them, and added it to the flowering chamber. That's a 66% increase from what the plant has been getting. Going to keep an eye on it to see if I need to lower the canopy a bit.

Is this plant transitioning? It's looking like possibly some male flowers showing up, but I'm certainly open to being wrong.

So far I've picked all the bananas and other male looking parts. There really weren't all that many. Hopefully I can keep up w/ them if they keep coming.

I suspect that the LST was done a little too late and stressed it, plus maybe the sudden increase in light were the main culprits. Definitely a good learning experience!

Just a lil update here:

The big girls are okay, drinking lots of water. I found some eggs under the leaves about 6wks ago, and sprayed them down w/ neem-soap water. The temps then jumped a bit, and some leaves burnt. Overall they are recovering nicely, but no real flowering action yet.

The one inside is looking pretty tasty, apart from some burnt leaves. I think that some orchid fertilizer mist got in through some gaps in the mylar while spraying my vanilla vine. Edit: or a zinc deficiency, time to PH some water.

I don't have a loupe or magnifying glass, but the trichomes are only looking milky to my eye. And barely any hairs have turned orange. In the last week the buds have fattened up quite a bit, and the tops still don't look finished.

I also turned this into a sub-irrigation setup, using a plastic pint container and a cotton rope wick. I needed to elevate the plant anyway, so it was a win-win. I'm going to let the soil dry out a bit (res just emptied today), and then water w/ distilled water for a round and tap after.

I'll be shocked if I get 7g from this plant. But it's definitely got me thinking about a tent...
