Typically when I come across a mushroom like this, I just consider them "Death Caps" and move along. The colors on this one caught my eye with it's shades of brown and purple. Any guesses what it might be? It was found under one of my fig trees that happens to have purple fruits.

Thank you!

Was it growing on wood / wood debris in the soil? Reminds me of Pluteus sp.?

Thank you guys, I will have to look those up for comparison.

Cuboid, it was growing near the base of a fig tree. There is probably some bark, cardboard, grass, rotten fruits and who knows what else.

Oops I fucked up, this is Clitocybe nuda.  Arathu correctly ID'd it first.

There are a couple species in this group - Clitocybe nuda sensu stricto smells like frozen orange juice and the other species doesn't have a name yet and smells vaguely unpleasant.
